okay, seriously, seriously, let’s try imagine this for a second. whoa! May 5th! This fight might be the biggest thing to happen to boxing in a very long time. The tickets sold out in a solid three hours, as well as the little fact that Floyd Mayweather Snr was Oscar’s trainer until a few days ago, before Oscar announced that he’d be using someone else. No love lost apparently. Mayweather Snr took the whole thing pretty calmly considering, well, i mean, if it was any other fighter, you might feel that decision to be a bit extreme, but when someone like De La Hoya is going out to fight your son, it might be a bit hard to take, especially if Oscar fights the way he used to….like a professor with fists of iron. But let’s not forget Floyd Mayweather – unarguably the best fighter in the world at the moment, hands down. That man can fight! The speed, the accuracy, the mind at work. I still can’t believe this fight is happening….find a sweet spot somewhere at your local pub, and get ready…..
